Radio City announces key changes in strategic team

MUMBAI: Radio City 91.1FM announces key changes in senior management to reinforce its national team.

National head of marketing Rana Barua will now also spearhead national programming while Nik Martin steps in as creative consultant (programming).

Sagorika Kantharia will now lead the HR function nationally as HR head, Radio City.

In his new capacity, Barua will lead all national programming initiatives besides working on the programming mix for Radio City.

Martin will focus on enhancing the station's engagement with the listener through the creation of relevant and compelling content.

The other senior appointments include Carl Avari who comes on board as head of the FM station's activation cell Radio City Connect along with Ganesh Bhagwat, sales head, Radio City Connect.

Subhashis Roy joins as national sales head (key markets) along with Vinita Bhatia, market head, Delhi. Avari, Bhagwat and Roy will report to Ashit Kukian, EVP and national head - sales, Radio City 91.1FM.

Radio City 91.1FM CEO Apurva Purohit said, "These are exciting times for Indian private FM and Radio City in particular. Bringing on board unmatched competencies, invaluable experience and acumen, these senior officials will contribute in developing robust processes which will help raise the bar for private FM in the years to come."
