MUMBAI:
Bindass has rejigged the top level management by elevating
two of its people. Nikhil Gandhi has been made VP national
sales and Ashok A Cherian has been elevated to VP marketing.
Cherian
replaces Sita Laxmi Narayan who quit Bindass last month.
Prior
to taking over as VP marketing, Cherian was the associate
director marketing for Bindass and Bindass Movies.
His
new responsibilities will be to oversee all marketing activities
for the Brand which includes where the Brand should go directionally
across TV, web and mobile.
Bindass
CEO Zarina Mehta said, Two of them bring to the position,
not only years of media expertise, but an in-depth knowledge
of the current business trends in entertainment as well. They
will be an important asset to our Brand and I am confident
that under their able guidance Bindass will go from strength
to strength.
Earlier,
Gandhi was regional director, West and South, advertising
and sponsorship sales, of Bindass and Bindass Movies. Nikhil
has seven years of media and entertainment experience.
Previously,
Nikhil worked as regional head, West, Zoom television and
was a part of the core team at Zoom during the launch of the
channel in 2004. He has also worked with MTV.
