Microsense, BA Systems partner for wireless internet

MUMBAI: WAN and WiFi solution provider Microsense and BA Systems have joined hands to roll out high-speed wireless internet services in the hospitality sector.

Microsense will use BA Systems' routing solutions for high-speed wireless internet access with perimeter and gateway security. Microsense has deployed BA's routers across eight of its network operating centres (NOCs) in India to provide managed connectivity for over 100 of its hotel customers.

BA Systems VP (sales and marketing) B Jagadish said, "Our routers and solutions offer carrier grade reliability to the network at a lower CapEx and OpEx. The hospitality industry, which caters a highly mobile internet-hooked community will particularly benefit from the features of our product like high availability, real-time remote management, tracking and dynamic service provisioning."

Microsense VP Sujit Singh added, "We found enhanced efficiency and economies of scale in the products and solutions of BA systems. As we grow our presence to other cities, we look forward to a mutually beneficial partnership with BA Systems."
