Star World introduces new programming line-up for Nov

MUMBAI: Star World is introducing a slew of new shows and specials for viewers in the upcoming festive season.

Starting 11 November at 8 pm, it will launch a new drama series Six Degrees, made by the producers of popular series Lost and Alias. It tells the story of six very different New Yorkers who are going about their lives without realizing the impact they are having on one another.

On 10 November at 12 pm, it will kick-off a special comedy line-up for Diwali, lasting for a total of seven hours. This includes 3 hours each of back-to-back episodes of Friends and Seinfeld. This will be followed by My Wife and Kids and Still Standing.

On 19 November at 6.30 am, the channel will also telecast the 35th edition of the American Music Awards 2007 Live from Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles with a prime-time repeat at 8 pm.

Star World is also introducing new seasons of old shows. Starting November 24th, it will air the second season of the sci-fi drama series Kyle XY every Saturday at 8 pm, and a brand new series Beyond the Break, premiering on 27 November at 8 pm.

It also has new seasons of The Jane Show starting 8 November, premiere of My Wife and Kids and 8 Simple Rules starting 26 November.
