Maa TV introduces slew of shows

MUMBAI: Telugu entertainment channel Maa TV has added a new line up of programmes to enhance its offerings.

These include the popular TV series by Ramanand Sagar, Ramayana dubbed in Telugu which airs every Sunday at 9 am.

The Hindi version of Ramayana had an intro given by the veteran and late actor Ashok Kumar. In Telugu, popular character actor Tanikella Bharani is being roped in to do the honours.

Joining the line up further is Narada Leelalu from RK telefilms which is telecast on weekend at 7 pm.

Narada Leelalu chronicles the tales of the celestial sage Narada. It has directorial supervision by K Raghavendra Rao who directed classic devotional sagas like Annamayya, Rama Dasu and Manjunatha on celluloid.

The channel has also infused a new afternoon fiction band called 'Malathi's Diary' with four new back to back soaps being aired.

  • 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm - Maro Chanukyudu by K.Bala Chander
  • 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm - Aada Janma by AVM
  • 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm - Rukmini by JK Creations
  • 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm - Puttadi Bomma by K.Bala Chander

     

Malathi a fictional character attempts to capture and speak their mind on the soaps everyday. She would be taking the viewers along all the soaps, while giving her comments in the beginning and at end of the band.
