MUMBAI:
HBO has acquired a 100-film library package from Disney-ABC
Domestic Television. These films include Pearl Harbor,
The Sixth Sense,Pulp Fiction.
Other
films in the deal include Touchstone's Armageddon and
Enemy of the State, Miramax's Shakespeare in Love
and Disney's George of the Jungle and The Mighty
Ducks.
Though
the date for each title becoming available varies, the the
rights to the first title kicks off in January 2009. The license
term also varies from 18 or 24 months, depending on the film.
All
these titles come to HBO after cmpleting their second pay
window on Starz.
