MUMBAI:
Over the years National Geogrpahic Channel (NGC) has had success
connecting with viewers through its local Mission properties.
It started with Mission Everest and then went inside
the Indian Air Force with Mission Udaan.
Now
it will look at My Brilliant Brain in December. The
broadcaster plans to woo its viewers by taking them inside
the human mind to explore its inner workings.
This
series aims to make viewers re-think the abilities of the
human brain as it looks at a group of people and poses questions
about the origins of genius: are these extraordinary abilities
genetic, developed or acquired by accident?
On
a planet of six billion people only a few possess a unique
genius. My Brilliant Brain reveals some of the most
extraordinary aspects of the human brain. With a mix of special
effects photography, computer animations and neurological
experiments, the series will showcase some of the worlds
most phenomenal geniuses.
These
are people living amongst us who have extraordinary mental
abilities were they born with it, developed them accidentally
or through learning? Premiering in December, this week-long
escapade will showcase the geniuses themselves and the scientists
who venture headfirst into the winding depths of the brain
to answer the question how does one become a genius?
GC
South Asia MD Nikhil Mirchandani says, Our Mission
properties have always showcased exceptional content, encouraging
viewers to re-assess the world they live in and expand their
thought horizons.

Brilliant Brain will take Indian television programming
to the next level with content so impressive and well-packaged
