MUMBAI:
Amrita TV is riding high with four reality shows on its channel.
In an attempt to provide attention to each of these shows,
it has set up Amrita TV Reality Centre and Studio.
The
Reality Centre is mounted on a one-acre plot with a built
up area of 26,500 sq.ft., adjoining a lake, in Trivandrum.
The
Reality Centre is also the venue for grooming and orientation
sessions for contestants for each of these four shows --which
has a participation of number of kids and youth from India
as well as abroad.
All
expenses of contestants to facilitate them for experts' grooming,
shooting, stay and travel are borne by Amrita TV, stated an
official release.
Among
its current reality shows, Amrita TV's prime-time band commences
with Pepsodent Super Dancer Junior which is telecast
Mon-Fri, 7 - 7.30 pm and Sat-Sun 6.30 - 7 pm. It follows on
the footsteps of Close-up Super Dancer,which ended
in August 2007.
Another talent hunt program Lux Super Star Global is
telecast five hours a week, Monday through Friday 8 - 9 pm.
The auditions for this show were held in USA,UK,UAE and India.
Another talent hunt to nurture and discover actors is Oxywash
Best Actor which is telecast Monday through Friday 9.30
- 10 pm. The screentest for this show were conducted in Mumbai,
Bangalore, Channai and across Kerela.
Take Care Raga Ratnam Junior,a carnatic music talent
hunt for the age group 10-15 age group is presently running
on the channel. Veteran music maestro V.Dakshinamurthy is
the chief jury of this show.
Within
this year the channel has already concluded AVT Vanitaratnam,
a reality show to discover the super mom, Super Star Junior
and Super Dancer Junior the talent hunt for the
age group of 10 to 15 years.
