Tushar Shah quits Walt Disney India

MUMBAI: Walt Disney Television India director - marcomm Tushar Shah has put in his papers.

The announcement of Shah's exit, who also had the research portfolio under his charge, was made internally by Walt Disney Television India MD Antoine Villeneuve last Friday.


Shah joined Disney in mid-2005 from Sony Entertainment Television (Set) India where he was vice-president marketing and communications.

At the time of filing this report, it remained unclear as to what Shah's next port of call would be.

As per the current hierarchy at Disney India, associate directors Venugopal Iyengar and Seshashayee head marketing and corporate communications respectively, while Shivani Sood Sharma heads research.

The other senior hand at the House of Mouse in India is associate director Mubina Ansari, who heads the synergy portfolio.
