Hallmark picks up second season of 'Intelligence'

MUMBAI: Monaco-based Daro Film Distribution, along with Vancouver-based distributor Thunderbird Films have extended their worldwide deal with Hallmark for season two of the Canadian television series Intelligence.

The Hallmark Channel deal represents more than 160 territories around the world, including India, the UK, Scandinavia, China, Hong Kong, Australia and the Middle East, among others. The second season of the television drama will debut globally later this year.

Daro Film Distribution Pierre-Andre Rochat says, "We are thrilled to extend our partnership with Hallmark Channel and look forward to the show’s continued success internationally”.

Thunderbird Films president Michael Shepard says, “This deal is a true testament to the genius of Chris Haddock and the popularity of procedural crime dramas the world over.”

Hallmark director of global acquisitions Mark Lawrence says, “Intelligence had a great first season with us. We look forward to its second season and to seeing where Jimmy will take viewers next.”
