Neo Sports to kick off Ranji Trophy coverage

MUMBAI: Neo Sports will kick off its coverage of the 2007-2008 season of the Ranji Trophy from 4 November.

 

The domestic first-class championship played in India will continue through the festive season right until January.

The knock-out competition, from the Super League will unfold through the season on Neo Sports with teams from each zone competing for the trophy.

The Super League is divided into two groups of eight and seven teams coming from the four quadrants of India. The division will see competition amongst the top contending cities such as Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad, amongst others. The competition also includes teams that have no regional affiliations, such as Railways and Services.

The channel adds that with the sudden boost in the domestic cricket front recently, there is growing interest among viewers which is evolving steadily.
