MUMBAI: US broadcaster Fox has announced that its show MADtv celebrates 300 episodes of pop-culture parodies and politically incorrect humour on 17 November.

Former cast members Mo Collins and Debra Wilson Skelton return to toast 13 seasons of late-night laughs from the historic Henry Fonda Theater in Hollywood.

In the episode Wilson reprises her heralded Whitney Houston impression as she belts out a special tune commemorating MADtv's most outrageously magic moments, and Collins appears as the beloved Midwest fuss-pot, Lorraine.

The celebration continues with montages highlighting 12 seasons of music-video spoofs, TV show take-offs, movie parodies, fake commercials and classic send-ups featuring MADtv's favorite characters and cast members.

The broadcaster adds that MADtv's edgy humour has made the sketch comedy show a FOX Saturday-night staple. Noted for its signature characters, celebrity impersonations and pop-culture commentaries, MADtv features cast members Michael McDonald, Bobby Lee, Nicole Parker, Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Arden Myrin, Crista Flanagan, Anjelah Johnson, Johnny Sanchez, Daheli Hall and Dan Oster.
