MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television (Set) India Private Limited will unveil its new network packaging from Diwali.

Set India will use the brand name of 'Sony Entertainment Network', to reinforce its identity of a television network with a bouquet of channels (Set, Max, Sab and Pix).

The new network and channel packaging will be in tune with Sony's positioning of being "contemporary, young and vibrant."

The network will also unveil the new logo which will be its corporate identity.

"The current channel packaging has been there since long and now our aim is to give the network an identity of its own. This identity will also be the corporate identity while each channel in the network has a clearly defined identity of its own," said Set India COO N P Singh.

The new network packaging is designed to bring all channels of the network under one umbrella.

Commenting on the new corporate packaging Set India CEO Kunal Dasgupta said, "The strategic intent in doing so is to reinforce connect with our viewers by giving clear identity to each channel while communicating the strength of the network through a distinct network logo and packaging."

"With the new network packaging we are also launching new packaging for all our channels on Diwali day. New channel packaging is in line with the kind of content they offer," added Singh.
