Big 92.7 FM begins 'Old books donation' program

MUMBAI: Big 92.7 FM announced Old books donation program for needy students who lack educational resources for studying, at Press Club, Hyderabad.

The two month summer long program began with physically challenged students of Shekinah Foundation for Disabled. National badminton champion, Jwala Gutta was also present at the occasion to cheer up the students.

All students from class 6 to 10 of Shekinah Foundation were given text books donated by Big 92.7 FM listeners. To facilitate their education, stationery items like geometry boxes, pens, pencils, erasers, ruled papers and school bags were also given by the listeners. A special magic show by Magician Ali was organized by Big FM to light up the evening.

The Old books donation program will support many students of special schools in the city. Special shows from 'Big booth' will be conducted on ground in residential apartments, public places etc. to promote the program and create awareness among people thereafter collected books and stationery will be given before the start of the new session in July.
