NEW DELHI: Awards will be given to the two best entries of
articles published in Pakistani newspapers during the calendar
year 2006 relating to gender sensitive reporting for men and
women journalists.
The entries for the fifth annual 'Gender in Journalism' Awards
for print journalists have been instituted by the Pakistan
Press Foundation (PPF) with the support of The United Nations
Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco),
Islamabad.
News, columns, articles, and features published in the Pakistani
print media during 2006 will be considered for the Rs 50,000
'Gender in Journalism' Awards. |
