MUMBAI: NDTV Group has lined up the first investor for its
subsidiary company, NDTV Networks Plc, UK. Soon after getting
FIPB (foreign investment promotion board) approval of Rs 5.85
billion, NDTV today announced it has signed definitive agreements
with US-based venture capital fund Com Ventures for investing
$20 million in the new company.
NDTV Networks has wholly owned subsidiary companies NDTV
Imagine and NDTV Lifestyle which would launch Hindi general
entertainment and lifestyle channels.
According to an earlier media report, NDTV Imagine would invest
$106 million while $25.23 would be pumped into NDTV Lifestyle,
a channel dedicated to travel, food, fashion, shopping and health
and wellness. |
