MUMBAI:
The movie rental company, Seventymm has acquired the business
of Madhouse Media Pvt. Ltd. which has a multi nodal channel
strategy and currently operating in Bangalore, Delhi, Chandigarh,
Mumbai and Chennai.
Co-Founders
of Madhouse, Sameer Guglani and Nandini Hirianniah have joined
the Seventymm management team.
Majority
of the existing customers of Madhouse would gradually transition
into Seventymm as well, says an official release.
Commenting
on this acquisition, Seventymm CEO and founder Raghav Kher
said, "The Board of Seventymm is excited about this development
and believes that it will further strengthen our strategy
and execution robustness. This firmly entrenches our leadership
positioning in this market and brings us a step closer to
our vision of any movie any time anywhere in India."
Madhouse
co-founder and CEO Sameer Guglani, who now joins the Seventymm
team as VP corporate strategy, commented, "The teams
