DELHI: Ten girls from four Indian cities shortlisted for the fourth session of
the Channel V Get Gorgeous are all set to vie for the crown of the music channels
supermodel of the year. They
include four finalists from Mumbai (Rachel, Rebecca Maumkel, Arlette Evita, and
Nina Sarkar), three from Bangalore (Sarika, Nidhi and Kirtana Krishnan), two frpm
Delhi (Mizpah Waters and Sneha Belani) and one from Pune (Arika Silaichia). The
ten finalists were presented to the media and the Delhi glitterati by the designer
duo Shantanu and Nikhil Mehra who were among the judges - and VJ Pia at
a party here. The reality show is to be telecast on Channel V from 7 June at 7:30
pm and will continue for four months. Those
selected as finalists will be taken through a series of makeovers by style experts,
culminating with an annual contract with Channel V and Elite Model Management.
They
will also get an opportunity to walk the ramp for some of the biggest designers
nationally and internationally and features in international fashion magazines.
The
jury comprised designer duo Nikhil and Shantanu Mehra, former Miss India Universe
Neha Kapoor, fashion choreographer Alison Kanuga, former model turned celebrity
fitness trainer Deanne Pandey, make-up artist Samantha Kochchar, ace fashion photographer
Manoj Jadhav, and fashion Editor of Seventeen magazine India Kushal
Parmanand. The
jury will now judge the finalists from their capability to walk the ramp in bikinis
to posing like style divas, scoring them on their walk, body, attitude and style.
By the end of the series, the viewers will be taken through high drama, excitement
and tribulations of the process of identifying one winner. Viewers

The
