MUMBAI:
Zee Sports will exclusively telecast the FIFA under-20 World
Cup Canada 2007 live from 1 July to 23 July. The tournament
will showcase the world's top youth teams battling it out
for the right to claim the crown of world champion.
The
competition, which runs from 30 June to 22 July will take
place in the six Canadian cities of Victoria, Burnaby, Edmonton,
Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal.
SportsCafe,
Zee Sports daily news program, will present the daily highlights
and analysis of the best moments of the matches. Zee Sports
would also be telecasting the highlight package of each off
the matches.
The
FIFA U-20 World Cup Canada 2007 features 24 countries from
around the world.
Held
every two years around the world since 1977, the series has
featured players in the world like Diego Maradona, Saviloa,
Raúl, Marco Van Basten, Luis Figo, Ruiz Costa, Thierry
Henry among others.
In
15 past tournaments, Argentina has won five which is also
the most FIFA U-20 World Cup titles including the most recent
championship in 2005.
