Asiasat and Indiasign, Indias broadcast services provider and systems integrator,
have signed a collaboration agreement to jointly launch a C-band multiple channels
per carrier (MCPC) platform on Asiasat 2s pan Asian coverage beam.
This will offer
broadcasters a one-stop transmission solution to distribute television and radio
services to cable and satellite networks, terrestrial stations, hotels and individual
home viewers across Asia and Australasia. This
new MCPC platform on Asiasat 2 will be operated by Indiasigns teleport in
New Delhi where it will provide uplink and distribution services to Indian broadcasters
through Asiasats C-band transponder capacity on Asiasat 2.
Indiasign COO Anoop Bhatia says, We are very excited to have forged a new
