MUMBAI:
Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd has acquired the distribution
rights for the David Dhawan's feature film titled Partner
directed by David Dhawan.
The
multi-starrer movie starring Salman Khan, Govinda, Lara Dutta
and Katrina Kaif would be tentatively releasing on July 20,
2007 in Gujarat, Saurashtra, Maharashtra, Thane, Goa and parts
of Karnataka territories as known in the film trade.
The
company would be having a meeting of the board of directors
of the company on 2 July to consider raising $50 million for
the purpose of long term working capital requirements for
expansion of business activities of the company. These would
include production and distribution of films in vernacular
languages.
It
will also plan for appropriate and optimum deployment of balance
of the funds raised through IP0.
