Nick India adds 'Batfink' to weekly primetime line up

MUMBAI: Nick India is sprucing up its primetime comedy block Nick Ha Ha Ha with the addition of a new animated series Batfink - The Invincible Crime Fighter. The show will air from Monday to Friday at 5.30 pm.

Recently, Nick announced the inclusion of fresh episodes of its channel mascot Spongebob and live action show Drake and Josh to the Friday line up of its evening comedy band.

Batfink, a parody on the mid-60‘s Batman, is an invincible cartoon crime-fighter with "wings of steel". Summoned into action on the hotline from the chief of police, Batfink uses his Super Sonic Sonar radar to track down criminals. Batfink is joined by Karate, a hulking Japanese martial arts expert.

Together they chase about in pursuit of their foes in the "Batillac," a Volkswagen- like car with wings on the rear fenders. Batfink‘s primary villain is Hugo a Go Go, a deranged scientist whose son is named Goo Goo, states an official release.
