MUMBAI: TM Systems which provides language translation, dubbing and subtitling technology, has announced that The Kitchen which is its language services division has added an in-house Asian team of language experts to its Miami and Los Angeles-based operations.

TM Systems president & CEO Ken Lorber says, “While all of our translation, dubbing and subtitling work is typically done in territory, all languages are supervised by our US-based staff throughout the process, given a final quality control check by our in-house native born Asian (or other language) team and mixed here in the US. As such, we are very excited to announce that we have expanded our in-house Japanese and Mandarin teams in our Miami and Los Angeles operations.

“It is vital to have in-house language specialists, for all key languages, in order to provide the very best language customization service in the business. Our in-house teams will work directly with the Asian-based industry, working in their own language, with an innate knowledge of the nuances of each language, an in-depth understanding of the customs of each territory and a strategic knowledge of the governmental laws of each country, allowing us to give an even greater, personalised service throughout the language process”.

The Kitchen specialises in language customization, to and from every language, for telenovelas; reality TV; anime; animation; children’s programming; series television; sports; news and documentaries and theatrical for DVD.
