| MUMBAI:
Former Bag Films senior creative and ideation director Sanjay Upadhyay is moving
to Sony Entertainment Television (SET) as VP development and programming.
Upadhyay's
new role at Sony will be effective from 18 June, sources say. At the time of filing
this report, Sony officials were unavailable for comment. Backed
by several years in experience in film and television direction, he has previously
directed shows for Sony including Saaya in 1997 and Hum Pardesi Ho Gaye
in 2000.
He
joined Bag Films in December 2003, prior to which he trained for over eight years
under film maker Govind Nihalani. |
