| MUMBAI:
Sony Entertainment Television creative consultant Harsha Chugh has resigned. She
will be moving on to Balaji Telefilms as the business head of its UAE operations.
Chugh
will join Balaji by August-end. She is currently serving a
notice period at Sony.
Confirming the news Chugh said, "My responsibilities at Balaji will be to
develop various non fiction shows, live events as well as the fiction shows for
the local channels in UAE.
Chugh
will be based in UAE. Her task will be to spot out opportunities
for putting up more shows in more channels in the Middle East.
Balaji currently has one show running in the region and expects
a revenue of Rs 20-30 million from this in the fiscal.
Chugh
was with Sony for seven years. Before joining Sony, she worked
with TV production house Magic Box.
