Star World to beef up programming in January

MUMBAI: Star World is launching a series of new shows for the New Year. The line-up includes Heroes, news season of American Idol, Bones, The O.C., Life With Bonnie, Vanity Insanity and Live from Abbey Road.





Bones starting on 9 January at 10 pm, explores the humanity behind the scientists who investigate horrific crimes. Live From Abbey Road, which captures performances from some of the world‘s musicians performing at London‘s recording studio, will begin on 11 January at 8 pm.



New documentary series Vanity Insanity will premiere on 14 January at 12 am. Star World will present the live and exclusive telecast of the 65th Annual Golden Globe Awards at 6:30 am.


The residents of sunny Newport Beach as The O.C. will return for its third season on 15 January at 8 pm. The next season of American Idol will come back to Star World in a new season on 16 January at 8 pm.


Sci-fi saga Heroes will return to Star World on 22 January at 9 pm, while on 28 January at 6.30 am The 14th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will be broadcast live on Star World.
