Alfred Haber to distribute music event Grammy Awards globally

MUMBAI: For the 19th consecutive year, The Recording Academy in the US , has appointed Alfred Haber Inc. (AHI) as the exclusive international distributor for the 50th Annual Grammy Awards.
 


Market sales have already been completed for what is known as Music's Biggest Night with broadcasters worldwide. These include Global (Canada), Wowow (Japan), ITV2 (UK), Televisa (Mexico), Foxtel (Australia), Pro Sieben (Germany), Sony Entertainment (Latin America), Kanal 5 (Sweden), MNet (Africa), TV2 (Denmark), SBT (Brazil), NRK (Norway), MBC (Middle East) and NonStop Entertainment (Scandinavia).

The 50th Annual Grammy Awards will air live from Los Angeles on 10 February, 2008. it will air in the US on CBS. The Grammy Awards was the first awards show to air in high-definition TV/5.1 surround sound and will continue utilising the latest technologies to provide a more immersive viewing and listening experience for the show's global audience.

Haber says, "Over the past 50 years, the Grammy Awards has become the world's most famous music telecast and a 'must see' event for people everywhere. The show continues to push the envelope for never-before-seen live musical performances from new and established artists across all genres, and we are delighted to able to offer this very special golden anniversary evening to our buyers around the world."
