The annual Media Excellence Awards are assigned by The Association for International Broadcasting for achievements in broadcasting and new media. The applications are reviewed by an independent international
panel of judges.

Winners were announced at the third annual AIB Media Excellence Awards which took place in London. The AIB which is based in the UK is the industry body that serves the international media.

The Bloomberg Television service was described by AIB judges as "consistently high quality and punching above its weight, successfully marrying specialist material with more mainstream coverage of news and current affairs."
