MUMBAI: VJive Networks, the Indian in-store digital media network, has been selected as a winner of the Red Herring 100 Asia awards, 2007.

This was announced at a gala dinner during the ongoing Red Herring 100 Asia event in Hong Kong. The event kicked off on 29 and will culminate on 31 August.

The winners were selected from a pool of more than 500 applicants based in 16 countries including China, India, Japan, Singapore, Korea, Australia and Vietnam.

Red Herring editor in chief Joel Dreyfuss said, "There was a large pool to choose from and we're impressed by the caliber of innovation bursting from Asia's business and technology sector."

The Red Herring editorial team selected the winning companies based on both quantitative and qualitative criteria such as financial performance, technology innovation, quality of management, execution of strategy and integration into their ecosystem.

"This is a great testament to all the hard work that has gone into creating India's largest in-store digital media network. We are confident that Vjive digital media-at-retail will significantly increase the dialogue between marketers and shoppers," said Vjive Networks CEO Rajesh Jog.
