| MUMBAI:
Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios has promoted Edie Lauw as vice president world wide
television finance. In
her new position, Lauw takes on the financial planning and analysis for MGM Worldwide
Television. Her oversight also includes providing analysis for the negotiations
to acquire new MGM TV programming, cable, VOD, syndication, and made-for-TV films.
Lauw will continue to be based in the company's headquarters in Century City.
"During her time at MGM, Edie has contributed to revamping
the studio's planning systems to facilitate and accommodate
the company's continued growth For over a decade, she has
demonstrated her time and commitment in helping to manage
the studio's finances," said worldwide television distribution
co preseident Jim Packer.
Most
recently, Lauw was MGM's executive director, Worldwide Television Finance, a position
she has held since 2005. She has also held positions like financial analyst in
the consumer products department and corporate planning in MGM. |
