MUMBAI:
Former TV Today executive editor and Mumbai bureau chief Shishir
Joshi has joined Mid Day Multimedia as group editorial director.
In
his new role, Joshi will oversee the digital content of Mid
Day Multimedia and drive the multi media products across Mumbai,
Delhi and Bangalore.
Joshi
said, "With technology expanding and shrinking the world,
Mid-Day, through its various verticals has the best
possible leadership model in the multi-media space."
"I
am looking forward to creating a synergy between its various
newspapers, radio and internet media apart from exploring
the satellite space." he added.
While
working with TV Today, Joshi managed the editorial operations
for western India for the four channels of the Network including
Aaj Tak, Headlines Today, Tez and Delhi Aaj Tak.
He
brings along with him almost 20 years of experience of woking
with CNN.com, Reuters, ITN Channel 4 and AFP.
