MUMBAI: Big 92.7 FM has launched in Amritsar, Patiala, Udaipur and Tirupathi. With the new launch, the FM station is now operational in 27 cities and towns.

Big FM is set to roll out 18 more stations to take its total count to 45.

Big FM COO Tarun Katial said, "We are extremely happy with the progress that we are making and the response that we have received across stations. While the metros are ideal to establish brand recognition and recall, few of the mini-metros are completely new and fresh to explore, which is a huge opportunity. It is our endeavour to attract the local audiences and build a brand that connects at the grassroots.. The programming mix of our Stations has been put together based on an extensive research and in-depth analysis keeping into consideration the local preferences."
