DELHI: The annual National Photo Contest this year is on the
theme of “Spirit of Independent India” to mark the
60th anniversary of independence.
Organized
annually by the Photo Division of the Information and Broadcasting
Ministry, the 20th National Photo Contest is open to both
amateurs and professionals. The competition will have two
sections: Black and White print (Monochrome) and colour print.
Participant
will be permitted to send a maximum of four different photographs
for both the sections.
The
award consists of Rs. 20,000 as the First Prize, Rs. 15,000
as Second Prize, Rs. 10,000 as Third Prize, and ten each Commendation
Prizes of Rs. 2,000 each for both sections, a memento and
a certificate of merit.
Entries can be sent in by September 15 to the Photo Division
in Delhi.
