MSG Entertainment, Nickelodeon & Live Nation announce record box office grosses for Go, Diego, Go Live!

MUMBAI:MSG Entertainment, Nickelodeon and Live Nation announced the results of its record-breaking two week, 17 performance run of Go, Diego, Go Live! The Great Jaguar Rescue presented by State Farm Insurance, at Radio City Music Hall. Total gross revenue for the production reached $4.3 million, breaking the Radio City record previously held by Diego's cousin, Dora the Explorer in 2003.

In addition, Nickelodeon and Live Nation announced addition of 20 markets for Go, Diego, Go Live! tour schedule. These include Los Angeles, San Diego, Fort Lauderdale and Houston. The tour is scheduled to visit a total of more than 80 cities in the U.S. and Canada.

The new live-action stage show, Go, Diego, Go Live!, follows Diego, his sister Alicia and cousin Dora on an action packed, special mission to get Baby Jaguar's growl back from the Bobo Brothers. They will need the audience's help to rescue animals, navigate through the rainforest and pass a giant waterfall to get to the Animal Carnivale. Featuring the familiar songs and characters from the award winning television show that fans have come to love, this live action theatrical will take preschoolers on an interactive, high-stakes journey .

Go, Diego, Go! on Nick Jr. features eight-year-old Diego, a bilingual animal rescuer and nature expert who has the ability to talk to animals. In each episode, flavored with Spanish words, Latin American music, folktales and traditions, Diego and his friends encourage kids to use scientific thinking and investigative strategies to help animals in trouble. Baby Jaguar is the animal closest to Diego's heart, and his youthful eagerness sometimes puts him in precarious situations. Go, Diego, Go! airs weekdays at 9:00 am. ET/PT as of 30 April on Nick Jr., and is created and executive produced by Chris Gifford and Valerie Walsh, the same team behind the phenomenal hit show Dora the Explorer.
