MUMBAI: Activity usually heightens on kids' channels during the sweltering summer months but this time round, as a run up to the summer, Cartoon Network and Pogo have launched a few new shows in March.

Cartoon Network introduced a four hour long series of Dexter called D 4 Dexter - G 4 Genius on 5 March, which airs from 4 pm to 8 pm. It's exams time for kids and Dexter is all set to give tips on how and what to do during exam time. The channel is also running a contest simultaneously wherein kids can win a HP Compaq Presario every Sunday.

Apart from this, Good Morning Scooby has now been placed in a new time slot. Starting 6 March, the show will air from Monday to Sunday at 7 am to 8 am. This block features Tom and Jerry and Richie Rich.

Cartoon Network has crowned The Grim Reaper as the Character of the Month for March. The show will be aired every Sundays from 8 pm - 9 pm.

And that's not all. As far as the movies block Cartoon Theatre is concerned, the channel will air Tom and Jerry: The Magic Ring on 12 March at 12 pm. On the other hand, Tin Tin and Mystery at Shark Lake will air on 19 March at 12 pm and the premier of The Pebble and the Penguin will be aired on 26 March at 12 pm.

Moving on to Pogo, the channel has begun airing NDTV's show Chuppa Rustam from Monday to Friday at 7 pm. Chuppa Rustam is a reality comedy show where hidden cameras are used to capture the 'gags' played on people.

New episodes of Winx Club on Pogo will be aired starting 20 March at 4.30 pm. On Pogo Safari, Around The World In 80 Days will air on weekends at 7 pm from 4 March.
