Ustad Ghulam Ali Khan and Javed Akhtar in a tête-à-tête on Radio City 91 FM

MUMBAI: The Music Broadcast Private Limited (MBPL) promoted -- Radio City brings the ghazal maestro Ustad Gulaam Ali Khan and the lyricist, screenplay writer and poet Javed Akhtar in an exclusive tête-à-tête.

The conversation will be boardcast on Radio City 91 FM Mumbai on 10 March from 9 to10 pm and on 12 March from 8 to 11 pm.

Ustad Ghulam Ali and Javed Akhtar will speak on a wide range of subjects like the nature of the music industry in Pakistan and in India, the of elements Punjabi language and songs and the current music scenario.

The highlight of the show is when Javed Akhtar quizzes Ali Khan on his unique style of rendering ghazals in his heavy, baritone voice and how She creates very subtle vibrations in his voice to convey a whole range of emotions through it.
