MUMBAI: Naukri.com in association with CNBC TV18 is all set feature a reality
format show on job hunt named, Job Show. The Job Show will be hosted
by the Britannia Industries former managing director and CEO Sunil Alagh.
Alagh will speak on some of the hottest jobs in the market today. The
Job Show, a 26-episode show and shall begin to air from February 2006 onwards
on every Saturday with a repeat show on Sunday afternoon. According to
an official release, interested applicants can apply after which their application
will be sent to the HR department of the respective company. The companies will
then shortlist the candidates on the basis of their criteria. During this process
the company might contact the applicants for an e-test or a telephonic interview.
Naukri.com and CNBC will announce the names of the five shortlisted candidates,
ten days from the close of the call for applications. These candidates will then
be flown to Mumbai, where the episodes will be shot. The selected candidates get
a chance to not only bag a dream job but also to appear on television. While
on TV, there will be five rounds conducted by none other than Sunil Alagh and
two senior mangement executives from the recruiting company. Results will be declared
at the end of each episode.So, within a span of 30 minutes, candidates will walk
away with their dream job. "Naukri.com has come together with CNBC
