On the other hand, IMG's television arm TWI has been mandated by
the BCCI to do the production work for the cricket matched to be
telecast on Doordarshan.
DD had offered BCCI to pay Rs 70 million per ODI. A total of twelve
ODIs will be played in the series.
Keep tuned in as later in the day some more action is likely to
take place with the Union Cabinet slated to discuss a legislation
on mandatory content sharing with the pubcaster by private broadcasters
and agencies, irrespective of the fact who holds the telecast rights.
