MUMBAI: In February this year, Rathikant Basu-promoted Broadcast Worldwide's flagship channel Tara Bangla was re-launched as two new channels: Tara News and Tara Muzik. Among these, the 24-hour music and entertainment channel Tara Muzik has come out with its first report card now.

The channel has released a data in which it claims to have taken the second highest share of viewership among Bengali channels for week 16 (starting 10 April) for the C&s SEC AB 25-34 category in the Kolkata market.

As per the TAM data provided by the channel, it stands narrowly behind leader ETV Bangla with a share of 9.63. In the CS SEC AB 15-34 category, Tara Muzik has recorded a share of 7.73.

Tara Muzik also head the second spot in the total market with a share of 6.91 in the CS SEC AB 25-34 category and with a share of 5.8 in the 15-34 category, the channel states.
