MUMBAI: Looks like airline passengers are in a treat from television
networks! The latest to cash in on this high-flying viewer segment
is CNBC. The business news and information channel has inked a deal
with Singapore Airlines to deliver live in-flight news on select
routes.
In an agreement with Connexion by Boeing, which claims to be the
world's leading high-speed in-flight Internet services provider,
NBC Universal Cable is making available globally either CNBC Asia,
CNBC Europe or CNBC US, depending on flight path, as well as MSNBC
programming within the United States, informs a media release.
