PMI to market primetime soap on DD National

MUMBAI: PMI Entertainment (India) Pvt. Ltd. has secured the exclusive marketing rights of the mega histrocial Nawaab Siraaj-Ud-Dollah, scheduled to telecast on DD National from 6 August, every Saturday at 9.00 pm.

Speaking to, PMI Entertainment CEO Ajay Patadia said, "With the launch of this serial, we are marking our beginning in the national market. Nawaab… is a historical serial involving the most popular artistes from the television/film industry & the national network viewers will get to watch the historical of this stature after a very long time."

Elaborating on the national plans, Patadia said PMI would be launching a weekly serial on a major national network. "Shortly, In Hindi language, we have one weekly serial coming on a major national network. we are launching two daily serials in other regional languages. Apart from this, we are also working on a documentary project for a US based media company & a regional language feature film."

PMI, which has been concentrating on regional markets, currently produces two primetime daily serials in Malayalam language translating into 5 hours of weekly programming.
