Zee TV completes '10 pm - 1 hour' strategy with 'Rabba Ishq Na Hove'

NEW DELHI / MUMBAI: Zee TV has now its troups in place for the week days 10 pm slot. After positioning Time Bomb on Monday, the channel has now turned its attention to Tuesday.

The responsibility of strengthening the Tuesday 10 pm slot has gone to the Aroona Irani-produced Rabba Ishq Na Hove.

"With Rabba Ishq Na Hove, we have completed our strategy of fighting the competition in the crucial 10 pm slot with one hour shows. Now from Monday to Friday, we have programmes covering diverse subjects as one hour shows in this slot," Zee TV marketing head Tarun Mehra told The love story premiers on 26 July.

Zee TV presently has one hour shows Rooh (Wednesday) and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge (Thursday & Friday) on the 10 pm slot.

Speaking at a launch function, Mehra said that Aruna Irani's production has given Zee some good serials, and this is a continuation of that relationship.

An official Zee statement quoted Zee TV business head Abhijit Saxena as saying, "Rabba Ishq Na Hove is different from the other shows that are on air presently. In the past, we have always enjoyed the support of our audiences whenever we have tried something new. We hope to continue the trend with this new show".

The serial is produced by Aroona Irani known for previous hits such as Tum Bin Jaoon Kahaan, Mehendi Tere Naam Ki and many more.
