Roychowdhury, who will will function out of Delhi, will now have
Suresh Balakrishnan HT Media vice-president, media marketing and
Triveni Das reporting to him. In this newly created role, Roychowdhury
will lead the development and execution of a media sales and marketing
strategy to support HT Media's new business growth goals and increase
leverage of geographical expansion that is currently being rolled
out.
The appointment of Roychowdhury comes in the wake of Hindustan
Times planning a Mumbai edition later this year.
