MUMABI: Channel [V] Super Singer is all set to kick off its semi final round for the North zone as the search continues for the country’s Super Singer. Thefinalist of this round will be short listed from Chandigarh, Jaipur and Delhi. The show will air on 3 February at 9 pm.

Out of the 50 singers short-listed in the zonals, only 25 will make it to the intensive rounds in Mumbai. According to a press release, Channel [V] VJ Gaurav Kapur, who hosts the show feels that this thought-provoking reality show captures the magic and the emotion of aspiring youngsters wanting to realize their ambitions.

This episode, while featuring a clinical psychologist Natasha Sharma, will also present a situation where contestant Anu Arora backs out from the competition in order to give her younger sister, Swati Arora, a chance to excel.

Last week, the vocal powers of the finalists from Hyderabad, Cochin and Bangalore aspriants were presented in the South Zonals held in Bangalore.
