MUMBAI: Zee TV is launching a new look Antakshari. The channel is fine-tuning one of its most successful shows with a new format and new sets.

The format of the show has gone under a complete makeover with many alterations. In total there will be three rounds namely - 'Ek ka Paanch', 'Tring Tring' and the 'Visual Round'.

One of the main changes that will be seen is in the selection of the teams that will participate. There will be six Anjane teams selected from the audiences at the start of the episode who will further compete with each other to form the three teams of 'Deewane', 'Parwane' and 'Mastane'.

As per the new format, every round will be musical but at the same time it will have elements of a game show. This will give the show a momentum and a tension filled, unpredictable climax. The USP of this format will be Want to be a 'Sansui Anjane' SMS 7575, says an official release.

The show is also stressing on the Antakshari factor (The A factor) by selecting contestants who have a unique trait or quality apart from being good singers. The special feature will be used to entertain the audience. The show will also have a segment which is called 'Top 10 Worst Auditions' featuring 10 worst auditions shot all over the country. Since real people will be a part of this segment we are sure that this addition will increase the viewership, adds the release.

The show will open with six teams (two participants in each team) called 'Sansui Anjane'. They will be seated on tables in the front row of the Audience. There will be 3 empty tables on stage Deewane, Parwane & Mastane. The host will then ask three questions which will be in the Dhun Format to the six teams. The three teams that hit the buzzer first and sing the song correctly will take their respective places on stage as Deewane, Parwane & Mastane. Each team will be given 100 bonus points for the correct answer. The other three teams will remain in their respective positions.

The opening round of the show is named as Ek Ka Paanch. All four teams will play this round. The host will give a cue the team will have to sing the complete mukhda and five points will be given for every correct word sung .The longer the mukhda the higher the score. At the end of this round the participants in the team with the lowest score will be asked to leave the game.

The hosts will then play another dhun for the remaining three teams in the "Anjane" box. The team who hits the buzzer first and answers the question correctly will then take their place on stage in the team that was eliminated due to a low score. These new participants along with the other two teams will then play the next round.

The popular Tring Tring Round been retained. This will be a buzzer round wherein only three questions will be asked and 200 points will be given for every correct answer and 100 points for every wrong answer. At the end of this round the team with the lowest score will be asked to leave the game. Our hosts will then play another Dhun for the remaining two teams in the "Anjane" box. The team who hits the buzzer first and sings the song correctly will play the game in the next round.

In the visual round the questions asked will be through visuals. There will be questions put to the participants. The scoring: 200 points for every correct answer and 100 for every wrong answer.
