One of the main changes that will be seen is in the selection of the teams that will participate. There will be six Anjane teams selected from the audiences at the start of the episode who will further compete with each other to form the three teams of 'Deewane', 'Parwane' and 'Mastane'.

As per the new format, every round will be musical but at the same time it will have elements of a game show. This will give the show a momentum and a tension filled, unpredictable climax. The USP of this format will be Want to be a 'Sansui Anjane' SMS 7575, says an official release.

There will be 3 empty tables on stage Deewane, Parwane & Mastane. The host will then ask three questions which will be in the Dhun Format to the six teams. The three teams that hit the buzzer first and sing the song correctly will take their respective places on stage as Deewane, Parwane & Mastane. At the end of this round the participants in the team with the lowest score will be asked to leave the game.

The hosts will then play another dhun for the remaining three teams in the "Anjane" box. The team who hits the buzzer first and answers the question correctly will then take their place on stage in the team that was eliminated due to a low score. These new participants along with the other two teams will then play the next round.
