on the launch, Zee Smile business head Nitin Vaidya said, "Subsequent
to the success of our comedy shows, we have decided to experiment
with the romantic genre. Kahani Shuru With Love Guru will
have the element of humour, which is typical to Zee Smile, but the
plots will be essentially love stories. Since we have firmly established
ourselves in the comedy genre, we are trying out new shows to appeal
to a wider audience base."
