This offers unprecedented brand exposure that leverages, by association, off the popularity of the player, the team and the actual sport itself.

Radio Broadcast Rights
All India Radio will be given Radio
rights on non exclusive basis for there National Channel only, free of cost
keeping in view the role played by All India Radio in the earlier
years.

The rights for voice over IP and Radio Telephony will be given out on tour to tour basis keeping in view the exponential growth in the coming years.

BCCI to set up its own portal through an outsourced agency to generate revenue, not only for live matches but archival footage, interviews, memorabilia, merchandise etc, which will form a part of the site.

The digital world is rapidly integrating. The penetration of mobile telephony is increasing at a scorching pace.
The revenue potential from MMS, SMS/
Video Imagery/Gaming from these appliances will grow exponentially.
This platform also provides an
opportunity to BCCI to directly interface with consumers.
BCCI should endeavor to give such rights
in a platform neutral manner.
DVD's, VCD's, CD ROMS, Video are revenue
generating opportunities for the BCCI.

Ground sponsorship can range from a
company’s logos positioned on the front, back and sides of the wickets through
to large insignia painted directly on the field in predominant view of both live
and TV audiences.

There is a large
opportunity to create branded goods of a variety of articles for sale through
sports goods outlets, department stores and retail outlets.
In order to unlock this value it is proposed to create brands and logos incorporating properties based on the calendar of event.
These properties would be
licensed to a variety of licensees in the following areas:

shops
In a country like India it would be important to have a strategy against counterfeiting.
This would be achieved by selling merchandise through BCCI shops within
shops/corners in properly branded stores
such as Nike etc.
