MUMBAI: Star India has clarified that it supports industry's stand on self-regulation and some parental control as far as content regulation is concerned.

Making his stand clear on a Ficci-Frames news report on content regulation carried by Indiantelevision.com last week, Star India VP Karan Kuljeet Singh, a speaker during the session, has said, "We do not have internal control rooms, as had been reported, but internal control systems and procedures."

Star India has also stressed the need for a universal rating system across the industry.
