MUMBAI: STAR News launches a new show dedicated on total filmi news and gupshup, to reduce fatigue and rejuvenate viewers interest.

Kahani Puri Filmi Hain, the daily segment will premiere on 2 April and air thrice a day at 7.30 am, 8.30 pm and 10.30 pm and daily.

The new segment will feature information from the behind the scenes and actions and report on news from the world of Bollywood, Hollywood, Tollywood and in general the filmi duniya.

Besides the above, the segment will offer the latest on inside gossips, film launches, on-location interviews, music launches and near real-time info on the glamorous world of films.

In a statement issued by Star News, by gauging the needs of the audience and in catering to these needs the channel introduces the show with news on the film world.

Debuting on Star News, Kahani Puri Filmi Hai follows on the heels of other highly successful programme innovations such as Sansani - crime-based special, Saas Bahu aur Saazish - a show which reports on the world of popular serials on television, Jaanbaaz - a bravery show and Insaaf Ka Taraazu - a law-based show, Red Alert and Pol Khol, informs the official statement.
