When contacted, Star India senior vice-president content and communications
Deepak Segal would not be drawn into a comment. Basu on the other
hand did offer, "We are doing a show called Bluff Master
for Star. That's all I can say."
It was in July that Indiantelevision.com broke the news
that Hindi entertainment television's lead broadcaster had bought
the format rights of Dirty Rotten Cheater from Distraction
Formats, for which it had roped in Basu's Synergy to do the production.
